In what is incredibly exciting news, at least to me, I now know how to insert multiple pictures in my blog! Huzzah! Now I just have to go back over the last three years or so and collapse all my separate blog entries for one day into a single entry. That’ll take, I don’t know, forever. But then I can publish bits of my blog so that I have hard copy. Yay!
In other news, John has a herniated disc in his neck and has been in incredible pain this past week. We were supposed to have a combined birthday party last Saturday – cancelled. We were supposed to leave for St. George this past Monday – cancelled. But a wide array of drugs and ice have finally gotten him on the road to recovery and we are hopeful that we might be able to fly to Las Vegas and then drive to St. George next week. Jon, Ryan, Nathan and Sam are supposed to be visiting us there and we are trying mighty hard to get there.
Before the neck got really bad, though, John went in to work for a few hours and I went out to lunch with Sarah and her roomie, Mark, at Stephen’s Green Irish Pub in Mountain View. It was Sarah’s half birthday and also the date of my dad’s birthday, September 23. Look how happy Sarah looks.
