The last thing we did today before stumbling back to the hotel was to have the Smorgasbord at the Veranda in the Grand Hotel. Everyone except Karen who doesn’t really like fish much thought the herring was the real star of the show. They must have had it prepared seven different ways. I think, though, that exhaustion was setting in and it was really hard to eat with much gusto. This picture is of the dessert area. The best dessert there was a raspberry panna cotta (lower left) with a passionfruit jelly topping.
