This flagpole rocks
Our next stop was in Granada, CO where there is ( or was) a flagpole base with the name of each state and their state rock. Unfortunately, the whole thing is so vandalized that it’s hard to figure out which rock belongs to what state. This is such a shame because I wanted to take a picture of a petoskey stone which Ryan insists is the state rock of Michigan and I assert she made it up because she needed a mineral starting with the letter “p” when we were playing Scattergories.
