Just want to say that my little snit of last night is over and we’ve planned some really good stuff for the next week or so. But, back to the narrative.
We spent the night in Liberal, KS. One of Liberal’s claims to fame is that their pancake race has roots back to the 1400’s. No, Liberal wasn’t really on the map then. Their sister city, Olney, England, was having pancake races back then. Apparently you race with a pancake in a skillet. But since we had missed the pancake race (darn!), we decided to take a look at the Wizard of Oz exhibition.
