We have early flights out of Copenhagen Tuesday morning. Up before 5am, zipping through the city at 6am, getting a chance to see the outskirts. It’s not just the old city that is beautifully designed and decorated. Even the factories and the power plants get the Danish treatment! Then we get to Kastrup airport, which is also beautifully designed (as opposed, say, to Frankfurt), board our aircraft, thankfully not a cramped Airbus, and zoom off to Amsterdam for two days of art.
